Late Post: Des is a Year Old

Since starting my job it’s been a little difficult making time to blog since every time I get the chance to in front of the computer, I try to put some hours in. I should be in bed right now but I thought, what the heck, let me share some photos from Desmond’s birthday.

Desmond turned a year old on April 6th. We can’t believe that it’s been a year since we first stepped into the NICU. What a journey it has been. Desmond is such a joy to us. He makes us smile and laugh. He can already say “Mama” and shake his head “no.” I’m hoping he won’t put those two things together anytime soon. HAHA!

It was nice to have friends and family come to celebrate our miracle boy. He is soooo loved!
