Desmond the Sailor

Desmond the Sailor

The great thing about being born in Seattle and during spring is that Des gets to enjoy summertime. Of course we are not exposing him to direct sunshine yet since he’s a little fair-skinned like his daddy and I can’t put sunscreen on him until he’s 6 months old. (He is a little bit more tan than his daddy though).

Nick and I love summer. It’s our favorite season. If we could, we’d be living in a tropical island right now. But since we’re here in Seattle, we are definitely making the most of the parks, lakes and Puget Sound. I know it’s a very late summer post but hey, we do need to show these photos to you all one way or the other.

Our family at Greenlake. (I love how you can only see Desmond’s eyes)

Desmond’s first boat ride!

Desmond’s first time experiencing lake water. (Twin Lakes Idaho) Obviously, it was still not warm enough for him.

I guess we can just take a nice photo.

After the lake dip. We thought he’d like a nice warm bath overlooking the lake. HAHA!

Nick shares a sailboat with his parents. So it’s pretty crazy that only a few months old. Des has already experienced sailing.

His first ever life jacket.

I have so much photos it was so hard to pick. It only shows how much I really have to catch up on my posts so I don’t have to keep going through tons of them at one time.

PS. – Tomorrow Des’ nurse is coming over to give him a weight check. Please pray with us that he is growing the way he should. We love you all!
